Born and raised on the eastern coast of Denmark, Thomas grew up with a love for storytelling and cinema. His dream of going to America to study film led him, strangely, to study theater in Oklahoma. After graduating Thomas moved to Los Angeles and spent the next many years working on short films, music videos and documentaries before he teamed up with Justin Monroe to write The Unraveling. The Unraveling is Thomas Jakobsen's first feature film and it had it's world premiere in April 2015 at the Copenhagen International Film Festival (CPH PIX).
