About the Director
Making her directorial debut is well-known and respected US actress Emma Bell, best known for playing Amy in AMC’s 'The Walking Dead', starring in Adam Green’s thriller 'Frozen' and in 'Final Destination 5'. When Emma discovered that she shared a love of visually elegant psychological horror films, with fellow filmmakers Bel Deliá 'The Tunnel' and Helen Shang 'NBC's Hannibal' they decided to collaborate on 'Scratch'. The desire with 'Scratch' also being to make a film with a nuanced female lead character. “Part of the draw, for me, to being a creative is the ability to explore psyches.
