About the Director

David MoreauI'm a big fan of fantasy, sci-fi and horror. Unfortunately these genres are hard to find in French films today. I directed a horror movie, ILS, in 2006. At that time, there were still some bold and courageous producers willing to embark on this kind of adventure. With a tiny budget, the movie did rather well, selling more than 250,000 tickets. A small wave of genre films (known as the French Fright) followed, but by 2010 it was dead because it rather failed commercially. It's a shame because France is as fond of this kind of movie as the next country. They just have a hard time projecting themselves into such universes within a French context and with French actors.
