Myles Erfurth fell in love with horror movies at the age of 5 years old when he first saw “Frankenstein meets The Wolf Man.” Shortly after he discovered Alfred Hitchcock and became infatuated with the film “Psycho.” He started his “directing career” at the age of 12 when he started making stop action movies with a video camera and used action figures from his childhood as actors, from then on the camera never left his hands. He attended film school in Tallahassee, Fl for a short time and left early to go work for ABC in Los Angeles. For years he operated cameras for major networks such as HBO, Showtime and on feature films such as “In Time” and “Big Momma’s House 3.” He later returned to Florida to pursue his passion for horror films, where he directed his first creature feature, “Crocodylus.” He now caters to the Los Angeles, California and Miami, Florida markets as a cinematographer and director.

Mike was born and raised in The Bronx, NY. He has worked in film, video, and television production since the late 90's, working at the Howard Stern Show for eight years and starting his own production company, M.A.S. Productions Inc. Mike has filmed and edited music videos for John Carpenter, Fozzy, and Charred Walls of the Damned. He also filmed John Russo's latest feature, My Uncle John is a Zombie. For The History of Metal and Horror, Mike also serves as producer, writer, director of photography, and editor.

"I was terrified when I saw John Carpenter's Halloween for the first time at the age of 6, but in hindsight I also saw the raw power of cinema for the first time." Christian Koch was born on the 24th of May in 1989 in a little village in East Germany. He soon discovered his love for stories and especially movies. He began filming skateboard videos with local skaters of his area. During his aprenticeship as an industrial mechanic he wrote and directed his film debut 'Cut Wide Open' , a horror film in the tradition of the 80s Slasher Movies. After a couple of short movies he enroled in the Bauhaus University in Weimar, Germany in 2016. There he wrote and directed a comedy short fim called 'Low on Gas' about a clerk who works at a Gas Station and the thriller/crime drama short film 'MIA'(2018). In 2018 he directed the World War I Drama 'Grauer Reiter - Dark Horsemen', which premiered at FEST in Portugal. It also won several prices. After that he made psycholigical drama with thriller aspects, called "A CHRISTMAS CAROL". His Bachelor Film "LIPS & TIPS" is his latest film and is a highly suspenseful Thriller with the upcoming Berlin Actress Vivien König as Main Actress. The Film centers around a stewardess who is stalked by a mysterious stranger. He has a huge film and soundtrack collection is obsessed with films and filmhistory and watches at least one movie a day.

Andreas Resch is a director, screenwriter, essayist and film critic from Berlin, Germany. He has studied linguistics in Mainz and Berlin and screenwriting at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin and primarily writes genre pieces with a strong dramatic touch. Andreas has worked as a screenwriter for several crime programmes on German television. He teaches screenwriting at Freie Universität Berlin and will publish his first crime novel in 2022.
The dark atmospheric horror-thriller MARLENE is his feature debut as a director.

Jeremy Shipp has been writing professionally for 11 years. His writing credits include Nickelodeon’s 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, ABC’s The Family Tools (Kyle Bornheimer, J.K. Simmons), Dreamworks Animation/Netflix series Dinotrux and Disney Channel’s Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventures. Right now he’s working on a Disney show that hasn’t been announced yet. On the live action side, he has written a dark western that landed on the 2015 Black List (Crimson Trail). Jeremy was born in raised in severely rural upstate New York and currently lives in Burbank with his luminous wife and two beautiful children who refuse to let their Daddy use the bathroom alone.

Tom Kircher discovered his love of horror and filmmaking after being terrified by the Wes Craven classic "A Nightmare on Elm Street" as a child. At the mere age of 11, his filmmaking journey began as he enrolled in extracurricular film classes and eventually went on to graduate with a BFA in film production from Chapman University in 2018.

Over the years, Kircher's short horror films have screened and won awards at numerous festivals around the world including Screamfest, where he premiered "The Dionaea House," an adaptation of the terrifying online short story, in 2019.

His most recent short film, "The Man in the Shadows," has terrified audiences at nearly 20 film festivals and competitions, tapping into the fear that someone we don't know is watching us and can invade the places where we should feel safe.
