Lukas Baier grew up with filmmaking and worked on professional film sets already as a teenager due to his parents. He first studied philosophy and communication science in Salzburg and during that time worked as an assistant director, for film production companies and broadcasters. In 2012 he began studying feature film directing at the University of Television and Film Munich, which he completed in 2020 with his film “The Other One”. The film premiered at the Max Ophüls Preis film festival in Germany. Lukas is currently working at Beta Film as content editor developing international series.

Jean-Paul DiSciscio is an eclectic filmmaker from Boston, Massachusetts. He has been obsessed with filmmaking ever since he watched Jaws for the first time on VHS at the age of six. It terrified him beyond the capacity for rational thought. To deal with this emotional stress, his mother bought him a beat up copy of The Jaws Log. The impressionable boy was fascinated by the blueprints of Bruce The Shark with its mechanical guts. Jean-Paul still stayed far from the ocean, but had found his calling.

Ty Jones erupted from the womb ready to be a filmmaker. He's been writing since he was 7, but once he started making films, he knew he had discovered the purpose for his volcanic imagination. 10 years ago, Ty picked up an 8mm camera and shot his first film. Since then, he has studied with the Hollywood Film Institute in Chicago and in Los Angeles with Dov Simmons, who also helped Spike Lee and Quentin Tarantino begin their careers. Over the last 10 years, Ty has directed almost 40 short films, some of which have played around the world at film festivals. He has also worked on over 200 projects, such as commercials for NASCAR and Sprint and national television programs. Ty has held most positions in the film industry, ranging from DP to Assistant Director to Best Boy. You name it (outside of Make-up)and Ty has probably done it. Because Ty has learned the technical aspects of filmmaking in all genres, he knows well how to express his creativity in a way that touches a person's emotional core, excites the viewer, and makes the audience laugh. Ty knows how to tell a story. Ty has also studied ferociously the craft of acting for the last 8 years. This pursuit has made him a better actor, but more importantly, his studies have enabled him to better communicate as a director with his actors to get their best performances. After working with Ty, Jeff Burr, a respected filmmaker with over 20 feature credits to his name, asked Ty to come to LA to work on Jeff's latest feature, "The Devil's Den." In 2005, Ty moved to LA and worked on numerous features, learning the ins and outs of Hollywood and the film industry. Ty returned to Kansas City to shoot his first feature film, "Last Breath." Ty's desire for his first feature is that the experience will resonate with viewers long after they leave the theater.

In 2014 he shot his first short film, “Ku”, with which he obtained 11 international selections.

His second short film, “Hada”, achieves more than 260 selections and 60 international awards, including: Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, Telluride Horror Show, Fantasporto, NYC Horror Film Festival, Nightmares Film Festival, Les Enfants terribles, Comicpalooza Film Festival and FilmQuest.

At the end of 2016, he shot “Do we play?”, A 3-minute short film to participate in an edition of the Notodo Film Fest.

In 2017 he went back to behind the cameras and filmed the legendary CreepyPasta "Black Eyed Child", whose world premiere was held in the prestigious Fantasporto, had a great tour of festivals with more than 90 selections and more than 20 international awards. Selections at Screamfest and Sitges should be highlighted.

His latest work, "Abracitos", is Tony Morales' most complex to date.

Pia Thrasher is an actor, filmmaker and visual artist originally from Germany, where she studied the arts at the E.T.A. Hoffman Gymnasium. She majored in English and graduated from the Euro Sprachschule Bamberg as a Foreign Language Correspondent. Pia's acting experience started around 5th grade in school theatre and several small stage productions in her hometown in Germany. Soon after immigrating to the U.S. she tasted 'movie blood' while working on several film sets as an extra, including James Cameron's 'Titanic'. Wanting to learn more about the craft, she began training in earnest and enrolled in acting classes and showcases. Once she started auditioning, student films offered her opportunities to play speaking parts, adding experience and confidence to win her supporting and leading roles in shorts and independent films.
Pia eventually branched out and also started working on indie film sets behind the scenes, gaining more knowledge and skills as a filmmaker. The dark comedy short 'The Appointment' was Pia's directorial debut in 2015. Her follow up is the short film 'Things We Dig', a horror comedy, which she wrote, directed and stars in as the character Kuni von Stechen.
