Don Mancini is a writer and producer, known for Seed of Chucky (2004), Bride of Chucky (1998) and Child's Play (1988).
Sky Wang, Chinese American writer/director, born in Mainland China and immigrated to the West in his formative years. Having lived in the UK, Canada, and the USA, Sky grew up appreciating people and stories of all types and origins. Graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a film degree, and during the time of his studies, Sky directed numerous shorts and received many festival accolades. With one foot in the American film industry, Sky also pursues projects in the Greater China region, where he directed his first Chinese feature film in 2017. Sky is currently represented by CAA.
Rahi Anil Barve won the Best Film Award at the Mumbai International Film Festival in 2008 with his first short film Manjha, later chosen by acclaimed director Danny Boyle as a special feature for the BluRay release of his Academy Award winning film Slumdog Millionaire. Tumbbad is his debut feature film. Adesh Prasad, after editing Ship of Theseus by Anand Gandhi, joined the team of Tumbbad as co-producer, co-writer and co-director. He is currently writing his next feature while developing future projects for Little Town Films, including a sequel to Tumbbad. He runs Little Town Films along with Sohum Shah, and serves as producer and creative head of the company.
Alejandro Hidalgo graduated from Santa María University in 2008 and has produced and directed three short films: The Birthday of a Beggar (2006), Beautiful Light (2007) and The Miracle on Darkness (2009). The House at the End of Time (2013) is not only his debut feature film but also the first Venezuelan film of Suspense and Terror. The highest grossing Venezuelan theatrical release of 2013 now selected by Frontiers and Blood Windows as the must see Latin America genre film of 2014.
One of the horror genre's best-known and most celebrated directors, Wes Craven was widely credited with reinventing the teen horror movie. Initially gaining fame and notoriety for his Nightmare on Elm Street series in the 1980s, Craven enjoyed a second wave of popularity in the 1990s with his phenomenally successful Scream series, which spoofed the teen horror genre even as they revived it. The films kicked off a trend in teen horror films, inspiring any number of imitators that, for the most part, failed to live up to Craven's own work.
Daniel Farrands sold his first screenplay to TriStar Pictures (a modern version of THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW) when he was only 18. By the age of 24, his passion for horror landed him the assignment to write Dimension Films’ HALLOWEEN: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS, starring the late Donald Pleasence and Paul Rudd in his feature film debut.
When horror was made by people who loved horror. Romero teamed up with author Stephen King for the film Creepshow (1982), which was inspired by the horror comics of the 1950s. It did well at the box office and produced a sequel, Creepshow 2 (1987). Romero also has participated in the remakes of some of his classic works. He was an executive producer on the 2010 version of The Crazies starring Timothy Olyphant. Romero also served as an executive producer on the 2012 documentary Into the Dark: Exploring the Horror Film. Romero has contributed to several video games, including Call of Duty: Black Ops. The legendary father of the modern zombie movie died in his sleep on July 16, 2017 at the age of 77. According to a statement to the Los Angeles Times, Romero died "while
