Matthew is a trailer editor at Buddha Jones in beautiful (and burning) Los Angeles, California. He’s had the good fortune to work on such campaigns as Stephen King’s It, The Outsider, Halloween, Ready Player One, Us, and the Conjuring series. He enjoys starting screenplays and never finishing them, and also directs and scores short films when his friends let him boss them around.

Alex is a copywriter for the brilliant beans at Buddha Jones. They let him imprint his weird ideas on their incredible trailers, TV campaigns and even their on-hold phone line! It’s really very nice of them. His credits include Happy Death Day, Watchdogs: Legion and Fantastic Beasts. He also writes, directs and produces short films with anyone who he can trick into hanging out with him.

Adam was born in Covington, KY. He was part of the Northern Kentucky Troubadours theatre troupe, as well as a sketch comedy group called the Scott Walsh Comedy Foundation. He covered culture and politics for multiple local publications, and upon moving to Los Angeles in 2008 he began writing for Creative Screenwriting Magazine. This led to work with outlets such as The Hollywood Reporter and Indiewire, as well as writing acceptance speeches during award season. In 2013, he transitioned from film journalism to film/TV production, working on Split, Marry Me, Bar Rescue, Randy to the Rescue, etc. In addition to all that and making a movie, Adam directs audiobooks for Penguin Random House and Brilliance Audio. These days, he lives out of a suitcase, and spends too much time looking for the best local Indian and Thai food while figuring out what to write next.

Brendan is a Colorado native, but has called Los Angeles home since 2009. He is a working commercial director specializing in performance heavy, cinematic and stylized comedy, dark comedy and horror. Narrative remains his main creative passion so he shoots short films in between commercial gigs.

He's making a concerted effort to transition into film/TV so he is currently pitching several feature screenplays that he also plans on directing. "THE LOOKOUT", his most recent screenplay, is a tense and contained horror thriller taking place In the shadow of a looming nuclear threat. A disenfranchised young woman attempts to escape modern society by taking a job at a remote fire lookout tower. Brendan currently lives in Santa Monica with his newborn son (and future horror fan), wife and dog. When he's not directing, he can be found beating the drums or scrambling around the mountains and deserts of California.

orge Jaramillo is a Colombian film director and animator living and working in Los Angeles, California.

From a very young age, Jorge discovered movies and animation, and this taste quickly became a passionthat led him to study and see as many animated films as he could, focused specially on Japanese anime, which still strongly influences his work.

After studying animation at Lasalle College, Jorge quickly began working on big animated productions in his country, which led him not only to improve his technique but also planted an interest in storytelling and direction.

His personal projects, include the short film "Push it!", that got a special mention on Poland Pepsi Film Festival in 2010, and "RED", which was featured at the New York International Children's Film Festival (NYICFF).

On 2015 Jorge’s Graphic Novel "Elena" is was published by Line webtoon.

Jorge Jaramillo is a young director that surprises with his unique style. High contrasts, strong colors and shapes are the elements always present on his creepy and surreal images. His obscure visual proposal led him to conceive and direct great music videos and also to work in mayor Hollywood movies such as “Pacific Rim uprising”, “XXX3 - The return of Xander Cage”, and most recently Netflix’s “Cowboy Bebop.”

Joanna Tsanis is an award-winning writer, producer, and filmmaker. Her directorial debut Imagine a World (2019), a satirical horror short, premiered at Toronto After Dark Film Festival in 2019 and screened in multiple festivals around the world including Mórbido Film Fest in Mexico City and Nightmares Film Festival in Columbus, Ohio where she won the award for ‘Best Director, Short’.

Joanna wrote and produced Eleftheromania (2018), a WWII-era short film starring Academy Award Winner Olympia Dukakis. The film screened at several festivals worldwide, including Raindance Film Festival. Joanna won the award for ‘Best Short Screenplay’ at Mindfield Film Festival, and the award for ‘Best Drama’ at Toronto Shorts International Film Festival.

Joanna recently directed the dramatic horror short Mourn, starring Lynne Griffin of the cult classic Black Christmas (1974). The film will screen at the Screamfest Horror Film Festival in Los Angeles, the largest and longest running horror festival in the United States.

Formerly a comic book critic for the Toronto Standard, Joanna has a varied history with storytelling. She has produced numerous branded videos, both animated and live-action. Her branded documentary short Girls Helping Girls screened at Carnegie Hall in New York City for the 2017 Gabby Awards.

In addition to freelance producing, Joanna also works at the award-winning film studio Landed Entertainments where she produces both short and long-form content including a documentary on job recruitment in the United States, eight genre shorts, and a feature-length horror anthology film (currently filming).

Joanna actively lends her production experience to student filmmakers at Ryerson University where she ran an alumni film festival and managed a grant and mentorship program for film students in continuing education.

Pia Thrasher is an actor, filmmaker and visual artist originally from Germany, where she studied the arts at the E.T.A. Hoffman Gymnasium. She majored in English and graduated from the Euro Sprachschule Bamberg as a Foreign Language Correspondent. Pia's acting experience started around 5th grade in school theatre and several small stage productions in her hometown in Germany. Soon after immigrating to the U.S. she tasted 'movie blood' while working on several film sets as an extra, including James Cameron's 'Titanic'. Wanting to learn more about the craft, she began training in earnest and enrolled in acting classes and showcases. Once she started auditioning, student films offered her opportunities to play speaking parts, adding experience and confidence to win her supporting and leading roles in shorts and independent films.
Pia eventually branched out and also started working on indie film sets behind the scenes, gaining more knowledge and skills as a filmmaker. The dark comedy short 'The Appointment' was Pia's directorial debut in 2015. Her follow up is the short film 'Things We Dig', a horror comedy, which she wrote, directed and stars in as the character Kuni von Stechen.
