Max has a love of heightened narratives that led to his descent into horror. His non-horror shorts range from a 50s dystopian drama, a PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK infused revenge film and a twisted breakup drama about rising jealousy between a couple in the art world.

His horror shorts began with two films created as part of the Straight 8 competition. One, a short about sacrificial sex set in the Sixties, and the other about murdering those who share your name for ultimate power. The latter film, THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE, reached the London Premiere screening and has been released on Alter, the horror streaming channel.

Since then, Max and writer Alex Moran have developed horror-comedy short, RHYME OR DIE, where five strangers are forced to rhyme or get brutally murdered. The film was shot during the third UK lockdown. As none of the cast ever touch, they were able to shoot the film socially distanced. The lockdown also allowed them to shoot in a brand new and massive North London club venue that was yet to open to the public. It was a two-day shoot, with the rehearsals taking place online.

Though, Paul discovered a love for film from watching satirical movie reviews on Youtube. When Paul's friend told him about a screenwriting competition Paul wrote his first screenplay at 21 years old. Paul went on to win that screenwriting competition, had that film produced with the prize money, and had the film selected to premiere at Nickelodeon studios. Since that first script Paul has written, directed, and edited three short films. Paul's films have gotten better each time and he attributes this to all the movie reviews he watched making him self-critical and always striving to be better. Paul has recently moved from Ohio to California and is ready to continue making films in the big city.

Iago de Soto (Barcelona, Spain, 1980). After finishing his film studies at ESCAC (Barcelona Film School), he directed short films “Corre” (2002) and “Corre 2” (2003). In 2008 released “Versus”, his first full length feature (produced by 24 Mentiras), an independent thriller premiered at Sitges International Film Festival which had a long haul in festivals around the world. Since then he has been working as advertising director, currently exclusively for Atresmedia. His short film “The Den” (2018), also premiered at Sitges IFF, was his comeback to fiction, with a tour of more than 150 international selections, more than 50 awards and the candidacy for the 2020 Goya Awards. “The Light” is his fifth short film as a director.

Matt is a Writer, Director and Producer raised in the midwest farmland of Credit River Township Minnesota. After finishing his film degree at the University of Arizona he spent time in Montana and Wyoming until moving to Los Angeles. For the last ten years he has been working in the entertainment industry in film, TV and commercials as an independent filmmaker and in the Art Department.

He currently develops and Directs original content for MadWest Content and Palindrome LLC, creative production companies specializing in development through post production.

He is known for his Directorial debut indie horror film Chupacabra Territory and his award-winning horror short Bath Bomb. His short film Candy was recently released on the Happy Horror Days horror anthology feature. Additional credits include his work in the Art Department on the Bachelor and Bachelorette Television reality series.

Jason Ragosta was born in Connecticut. He attended the Maryland Institute, College of Art and started working in stop motion animation at Wreckless Abandon Studios as a storyboard/concept artist and assistant cameraman, before moving to the West coast to work in film. Jason then went on to manage a sound stage at the Academy of Art, University in San Francisco for actress, Diane Baker (Marnie, Silence of the Lambs) before working for a year as a Production Assistant in the editorial production office on the Disney film John Carter, directed by Andrew Stanton. From there, Jason spent a decade working in animation, independent films, commercials, and music videos, before completing his first independent short film, BOY IN THE DARK, followed by ZTV: SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL. He is currently working as the Editorial Manager at Halon Entertainment (www.halon.com) and completing post-production on his short film Mother Love which is part of SINPHONY: A Clubhouse Horror Anthology.
