Hailing from Australia, Josh has worked in the Australian film industry for over eight years, beginning in the editorial and camera departments before making a transition into directing commercials and short films. In 2013, he co-wrote and directed the short film THE LANDING, an ambitious period drama/Sci- Fi, which made its world premiere at the 46th Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival, where it won Best Short Film, qualifying it for the 2015 Academy Awards®. The film went on to win 14 awards, including Best Short Film at Screamfest® 2014.

Hasan can Dagli Hasan Can Dagli was born on 1987, in Istanbul, Turkey. While studying political science in university he developed passion into films. Later he graduated with an MPS degree in Directing from School of Visual Arts, New York, USA (2010), after he went back to Istanbul and completed a MA in Cinema Studies at the Marmara University, Istanbul (2012). Black Ring was his sixth short film. It is produced and shot in Istanbul, Turkey by the beginning of 2016. The main idea was to analyze the relation between human and matter, how people can turn into matter was the main start point and the idea led the script into a slow pace thrilling picture.
