Hailing from Australia, Josh has worked in the Australian film industry for over eight years, beginning in the editorial and camera departments before making a transition into directing commercials and short films. In 2013, he co-wrote and directed the short film THE LANDING, an ambitious period drama/Sci- Fi, which made its world premiere at the 46th Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival, where it won Best Short Film, qualifying it for the 2015 Academy Awards®. Guy Pigden is a Writer/Director/Editor currently in post-production on his second feature film Older which he wrote, starred in, directed and produced. He has just completed a new short horror film currently in festival's titled 'No Caller I.D.' As a digital content provider he has been creating web series, sketches and short films for over ten years through his Pigville Productions YouTube channel which has over 10 million views and 19,000 subscribers. Hasan Can Dagli was born on 1987, in Istanbul, Turkey. While studying political science in university he developed passion into films. Later he graduated with an MPS degree in Directing from School of Visual Arts, New York, USA (2010), after he went back to Istanbul and completed a MA in Cinema Studies at the Marmara University, Istanbul (2012). Black Ring was his sixth short film. It is produced and shot in Istanbul, Turkey by the beginning of 2016. The main idea was to analyze the relation between human and matter, how people can turn into matter was the main start point and the idea led the script into a slow pace thrilling picture.
Pablo S. Pastor was born in Madrid on December 24, 1985. He studied Communication Studies at University Rey Juan Carlos (2003-08) and completed his training specializing in Vogue Master in Fashion at University Carlos III (2009-2010). With long experience in websites, magazines and as an stylist in so many shootings, he has directed so many amateur shortfilms to now face the direction of 'Into the Mud', his first short film.
BLACKBIRD is a collaboration between TIM FELLINGHAM (an Australian actor/ writer based in London, with this being his directorial debut) and CHARLOTTE STENTE NIELSEN (a Danish director based in Copenhagen, with a cand.mag in film science). Tim and Charlotte have a great eye for film aesthetics and experimental storytelling techniques, their styles are influenced by more avant-garde cinema and art-house film traditions. As directors they both hold a natural affinity towards the fiction film universe.
Matt came to filmmaking after spending way too much of his childhood in darkened movie theaters and in front of the TV. He is a graduate of the University of Westminster in London where he was taught by Terry Gilliam regular Tony Grisoni (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Tideland), and UCLA's Professional Program in Screenwriting. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Jessica and two kids Nathan and Josh.
Sueng-Hyeun Lim is a student filmmaker from South Korea.
Although Filip Kovacevic was an avid film fan since his childhood in Belgrade, the writer-director chose not to study cinema. "While working on Incarnation, Filip was completing his graduate studies in theoretical maths at Belgrade’s Faculty of Mathematics. Now, aged 27, he can bring that precision and clarity to telling well honed stories on the big screen."
Duncan graduated with a degree in sculpture from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and went on to direct several animated and live action shorts, including the award winning ‘Block’ and ‘Horsehair’. He has worked extensively in moving image education, and currently makes promotional and short documentary films for a local authority across a wide range of topics.
