World Premiere

Born at an early age in Detroit, Michigan, award winning writer/director, Michael Kallio started making Super-8 movies at the young age of 6 after seeing Star Wars. In his early 20’s, he made his first feature film, “Hatred of a Minute,” a psychological thriller starring himself and Gunnar “Leatherface” Hansen and produced by Bruce Campbell. A second feature followed entitled, “Mutant Swinger from Mars,” a 50’s sci-fi spoof inspired by Ed Wood and the Jerry Lewis film, “The Nutty Professor,” which featured the acting debut of The White Stripes singer and guitarist, Jack White (Walk Hard, Cold Mountain). He is currently filming two documentaries. One is on his late friend and colleague Gunnar Hansen called, “Dinner with Leatherface.” The other focuses on local Southern California band, The Radioactive Chicken Heads. He is also currently working on a Lovecraftian TV series among other film and television projects. He hangs out with his wife, Jessica and their fur baby/dog, Buddy.

Mark Alex Vogt is a 23-year-old Writer/Director from Louisville, Kentucky. Over the past 7 years, Mark Alex has directed over 4 hours of produced content and been awarded over 20 accolades including Best Young Director by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. To quote him after his latest project, "Creating Lakeland was an experiment to see how far we could take the concept of a lost early-90s reel being shown to the world. It was an exercise that took us back to the techniques, motives, and indie ideologies that inspired those cult horror classics." Currently based in Los Angeles, he works as a freelance director with a passion for escapist storytelling and thoughtful narrative drama.

Julianna was born in Reno, Nevada to working class parents. Her parents divorced when she was very young and she spent her formative years raised by her single, working mother who often worked several jobs just to make ends meet. Although it was financially impossible, Julianna knew she wanted to go to college. She was accepted to UCSB and paid for her own tuition by working every morning as a personal trainer. She was the first in her family to go to and graduate from college. Her foray into Hollywood came that first year of college when a casting director saw her in a play and thought she'd make a perfect Andorian space cadet in Star Trek. She booked the role and was able to get her SAG card, work side by side with the original Star Trek cast (and wear the original wardrobes from the show) and she made enough money to send herself to school abroad in London for a summer to study Shakespeare with the RSC. She has been the lead in a few award winning independent feature films like the multi-award winning zombie rom-com Aaah Zombies!, Nun and The Funeral Guest (all 3 films available to watch on Amazon). For her role of Emily in The Funeral Guest she won a best actress award from LA Indie Film Fest and she was nominated for a best actress award at Hoboken International Film Fest for her role of Sister Gracie Rose in Nun. Julianna had her directorial film debut with The Party (2019) which had its Los Angeles premier at Screamfest. After directing The Party, Julianna got the directing bug and went on to direct two more shorts in 2019 (Hurricane Forecast and Slice). Hurricane Forecast (which she also stars in) won the Jury Prize for best drama short at Long Beach International Film Fest in New York in December 2020. During 2020 she wrote and directed two more shorts, Misophonia and For Worse. Play Me Like That, which filmed in April 2021, is the 6th short she's directed.

Sean Bell began his screen career in 2005 as an editor for the Australian public broadcaster SBS. During his time there he learned to hone his editing craft and expand into the roles of directing and producing.
He put these skills to use to make his first experimental short films, on which he performed many roles including Director and cinematographer.

Over the coming years he worked for many other broadcasters and production companies in Australia, his job taking him to Britain, USA and South Africa, whilst still keeping his filmmaking passion alive. His short animation ‘The Despair of Shammy McSteen’ won Best Animation and Best Sound Design at Bryan Brown's Reel Deal Film Festival in 2008. His 2016 film 'F Meat' won Best Australian Short Film twice and premiered at the prestigious Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal.
His latest film 'The Junket' is a thriller twist on the many celebrity junket interviews he's filmed throughout his career.

Anatasha Blakely is an Asian American writer, director, and actor who was born in Orem, Utah.

A diligent autodidact, Anatasha began her filmmaking journey as an 8 year old sneak: creeping movies from her eldest brother’s shelf and stifling her screams during the likes of Scream in order to avoid being caught watching rated R movies. After Alien, Pulp Fiction, Event Horizon and some awfully strange nightmares, she began to daydream and fish for her own ideas. She never stopped. Inch Thick, Knee Deep is one of those dreams.

She studied at Southern Utah University receiving a BFA in Classical Acting and is also an alumna of iO West, The School for Theatre Creators, and Clown Church LA.

Anatasha is part of a comedy duo, Buddy Puzzle, and a Los Angeles based improv ensemble called Stormchaser which hosts the podcast The Stormchaser Improv Podcast Show.
