Luis Utges was born in Madrid (Spain) in 1979 and studied at the prestigious school of Cinema of San Antonio de Los Baños (Cuba) where he studied screenplay and direction. He continued his studies at the Ecam School of Cinema of reference in Spain. During which he began to make his first short films. He collaborated on the web series: “Bloody justice”, as scriptwriter and cameraman, awarded in Baja and Miami webfest in 2014. Later he made his first foray into festivals with: “Mi Esencia”, a short film tribute to Alfred Hitchcock., in the Mombasa Gin Festival. “Redención” is second short film in competition in festivals, being Screamfest first world presentation.
Carl Shanahan is an award winning director, DOP and editor based in the UK. Having dropped out of University to film bands within London's punk rock scene, his first 'proper job' was in TV where he spent three years developing his post production skills. After this, he decided to pursue his main goal: directing.
Ron Carlson was born and raised in the small town of Placerville, California. He graduated with a BFA in Painting from the University of Utah and then moved to NYC to continue his passion of the Arts. He then moved to Los Angeles where he began his career in film and television. Ron has done several films leading up to Dead Ant. Ron has also received an Emmy Nomination for his Television work and is also well noted for his cult film Midgets Vs Mascots. Ron's vision for Dead Ant was to take everything great about B movies and Glam Metal to create a movie going experience that makes you feel at the end like you've just finished a great rock concert.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ron has always wanted to be in Film and Television since missing out on being on the show "The Wonder Years" as a kid. After graduating from El Camino College and leaving the Fire Department, he pursued writing after having a project optioned by Keenon Ivory Wayans. He has never looked back. Challenging himself to write and then direct something he can only shoot in one location, no special effects, and on a small budget The Perfect Family was born.
When A.J. Callens was six years old, he borrowed a hefty video camera from his mom and started his journey into filmmaking. After experimenting with stop-motion action films featuring his dinosaur toys, he quickly turned to his obsession with horror. Throughout his childhood and into his teens, he made horror films with his friends and whatever equipment he could get his hands on. After he graduated from an Arts Magnate high school, where he was immersed in theatre, he went to Los Angeles Film School, where his work was highly acclaimed. After graduating from film school, A.J. began working in all facets of the industry, from art department, post-production, cinematography, to directing and producing. He has worked on independent film productions, co

With his first short, La Cena, he wanted to create a unique an ominous atmosphere through his special aesthetic and the use of sound. Inspired by the masters like Carpenter, De Palma, Argento or Chicho Ibañez, he wants to create it's own original vision of fantastic.
Maazin Kamal was born and raised in Pakistan and completed his BFA in Cinema Studies at York University in Toronto. In 2013, he graduated with an MFA in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. Maazin's thesis screenplay, BURAQ, advanced to the semi-finals of the Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting and was short-listed for the Disney Features Writers Program. He is based in Karachi, Pakistan. BOBO is his third short film as a director. Munis Rashid grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas with a BBA in Finance and a BS in Radio-Television-Film. Louie Gibson graduated from Chapman University with a BFA in film production. Since then he has written and directed for several commercial clients. He co-created the series “Kid Pitch” and “Time Out” for Samsung / Funny or Die in 2015. Happy Hunting is his Feature directorial debut. He is represented by the Gersh Agency. Joe Dietsch has been working as a director and cinematographer since graduating Chapman University. As a director, his focus has been in the commercial and music video world, as well as a variety of international travel shoots. Happy Hunting is his Feature directorial debut. Gregory Plotkin, the editor behind the last three Paranormal Activity films as well as The Marked Ones, makes his directorial debut with Paranormal Activity 5. In addition to the Paranormal movies, Plotkins' previous editing include The Insider, Frequency, The Break-Up, and He's Just Not That Into You.
The Boxleitner brothers have been making films for the past decade. Their last short film, Downstairs, premiered at Screamfest 2014 and went on to festivals around the world. It ended up winning best short film at the Dark Scream horror festival in the UK. After their experience at Screamfest, they decided that nothing was going to get in their way from attending the 2015 festival and now was the perfect time to start shooting their anthology horror feature, one story at a time. The brothers intend on finishing their feature "Die! Sitter! Die!" within the upcoming year to present it in next years festival circuit.
