Luis UtgesLuis Utges was born in Madrid (Spain) in 1979 and studied at the prestigious school of Cinema of San Antonio de Los Baños (Cuba) where he studied screenplay and direction. He continued his studies at the Ecam School of Cinema of reference in Spain. During which he began to make his first short films. He collaborated on the web series: “Bloody justice”, as scriptwriter and cameraman, awarded in Baja and Miami webfest in 2014. Later he made his first foray into festivals with: “Mi Esencia”, a short film tribute to Alfred Hitchcock., in the Mombasa Gin Festival. “Redención” is second short film in competition in festivals, being Screamfest first world presentation.

About the Director

Carl ShanahanCarl Shanahan is an award winning director, DOP and editor based in the UK. Having dropped out of University to film bands within London's punk rock scene, his first 'proper job' was in TV where he spent three years developing his post production skills. After this, he decided to pursue his main goal: directing.

Recently, Carl has been filming in the UK and Africa for Oxfam GB, creating a series of short films about the droughts in East Africa, corporate tax avoidance, gender equality and Oxfam's work across the globe.

Carl's first short film, 'Eat', premiered at the London Short Film Festival in Jan 2016 followed by screenings at Aesthetica SFF, Shriekfest and The Portland Horror Film Festival. It was also featured on BloodyDisgusting.com.

Ron CarlsonRon Carlson was born and raised in the small town of Placerville, California. He graduated with a BFA in Painting from the University of Utah and then moved to NYC to continue his passion of the Arts. He then moved to Los Angeles where he began his career in film and television. Ron has done several films leading up to Dead Ant. Ron has also received an Emmy Nomination for his Television work and is also well noted for his cult film Midgets Vs Mascots. Synopsis: 
Warren is a degenerate drifter, scraping by, suffering from debilitating alcohol withdrawals on a daily basis. On his way down to Mexico, he finds himself stranded in Bedford Flats, a one-horse town nestled deep in the American desert. About the Directors

Directors Lee & Sam Boxleitner The Boxleitner brothers have been making films for the past decade. Their last short film, Downstairs, premiered at Screamfest 2014 and went on to festivals around the world. It ended up winning best short film at the Dark Scream horror festival in the UK. After their experience at Screamfest, they decided that nothing was going to get in their way from attending the 2015 festival and now was the perfect time to start shooting their anthology horror feature, one story at a time. The brothers intend on finishing their feature "Die! Sitter! Die!" within the upcoming year to present it in next years festival circuit.
