Some highlights of the evening: Ashley C. Williams from The Human Centipede was in attendance representing her new neon noir revenge thrillerJulia screening in October. Actor Carter Roy was representing his film Refuge which will be premiering at Screamfest in October as well. Naked Zombie Girl (Instant Cult Classic! ) director Rickey Bird and producer Nick Reisinger joined the good times. Don't miss their short film in October. We love seeing our Screamfest family: Ray McDermott of Film Radar, Sean Decker of Dread Central, It was great to see our friends Gavin Hignight and Luke LaBeau from Fearnet & Icons of Fright hanging out and our previous alumni. Alumni sightings:Justin Dix director of the award winning film Crawlspace at our 2012 festival. Actress Bel Delia from the award winning film The Tunnel from our 2011 festival. John Michael Elfers director of Finale premiered at our 2009 festival. Micah Delhauer the writer of The Edge of Oblivion won the Best Screenplay award at our 2013 festival. Michael Strode director of the student short Black Gulch from our 2003 festival.Christian Ackerman, short film director of The Summoners featured at our 2013 festival. |
Screamfest Mixer at Skinny's Lounge screamfest June 13, 2013 - 1:35pm ![]() It was a packed fun filled night at Skinny's Lounge last night.
