Born on the Canary Islands and raised in Madrid, Carlos Baena came to the United States in 1994. He’s worked at Industrial Light & Magic and Pixar Animation Studios, on films such as Jurassic Park III, Star Wars: Episode II, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, Wall-E and Toy Story 3. For his work in the film Cars, Carlos received a 2007 Annie Award nomination for Best Character Animation. For Toy Story 3, he animated the Buzz Lightyear character in Spanish Mode (Spanish Buzz). Saul Bass was born in New York City in 1920 and is a widely acclaimed graphic designer with a career spanning over 40 years. Among his most famous works are the title sequences for such classic films as The Man with the Golden Arm (1955), North by Northwest (1959), and Psycho (1960). Bass used his innovative ideas and unique perspective of the world to influence his art, engaging his audiences and developing the graphic design industry in the process. Hitchcock's famous shower-murder scene in Psycho owes its success to the design work of Bass' storyboards. Bass' short documentary Why Man Creates (1968) was spotlighted on the premiere episode of 60 Minutes (1968) in 1968. He is also responsible for the logos of many prominent corporations like AT&T, United Airlines, and Dixie.
John Gulager the director of Feast was the main focus of season three of Project Greenlight. The film, made for Miramax, had a limited theatrical release. The DVD version was released on October 17, 2006. Screamfest premiered Feast in October 2005.
Shant Hamassian grew up in the rolling hills of Calabasas, California and attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Nick Bird has been directing both films and plays throughout his life in Los Angeles. When Actor, Jeff Goldblum saw his film "The Bathroom," he then hired Nick to direct the play, "The Exonerated." Nick later went on to work at Warner Bros. Studios for Mark Canton and George Clooney in creative development. "Sever" was written and Directed for the Studio 4 Master Class film school project.
