Anthony Cousins is a director/cinematographer who previously directed the short film WHEN SUSURRUS STIRS which screened at over 50 festivals including Fantasia Film Festival, Fantastic Fest and Toronto After Dark and won 14 awards on its festival run. He is currently preparing his first feature.
Juan Pablo Arias Muñoz is a Chilean filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. His latest work, the horror/drama short film "Hombre" was presented at the New York Film Festival 2017, the Stockholm Film Festival 2017 and Seattle International Film Festival 2018 among many others. The short film was also awarded "Best Iberoamerican Short Film" in Elche's Independent Film Festival (Spain) and won the "Prix Courtoujours" at the 30es Cinélatino, Rencontres de Toulouse (France).
Dave Yohe is an award-winning writer/director/producer. From a young age, reading magazines such as Fangoria, Gorezone and Starlog, his love of Horror and Science Fiction set him on his path to becoming a filmmaker. As important as film is to Dave, so is his enthusiasm for sports, love of animals "especially his dog Aunt Beru", family and friends. Dave's films have been Oscar qualified by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, as well as selected to screen in over 40 national, regional and genre festivals, garnering him best film awards at ComicCon, Seattle, Atlanta, Williamsburg, New Hope, Burbank and HollyShorts. Dave is the co-founder of Isotropic Films based in Burbank, CA.
Sam Milman and Peter Vass are a comedy writing and directing duo also known as Bad Weather Films. Their short films on YouTube have amassed over 10 million views and include an array of comedy content starring some of the biggest digital talent on the Internet.
Born in Brisbane, Australia, Steve has had a long and successful career in Special Makeup FX. His company, Steve Boyle Studios has created the FX for films such as Daybreakers, Predestination, Jungle, Guardians Of The Tomb, and most recently Winchester. Steve has continued his love for Filmmaking by moving into writing and Directing. His previous film MULLET GUT premiered in Screamfest in 2013. AVULSION is his second short to screen at the festival and allows him to combine his love of writing, directing and Special FX. He is currently prepping his directorial debut, THE OPPRESSION.
HUMBERTO BUSTO (México, 1978) is a graduated student of Dramatic Arts at Universidad Autónoma de México (CUT). He´s a Berlinale Talents attendant of studio programmes and workshops with Mike Leigh, Stephen Frears, Alan Parker, Wolfgang Becker and Frances McDormand.Has worked as an actor in more than 20 films screened at international film festivals in Cannes, San Sebastian, Karlovy Vary, Berlin and Vancouver, such as Amores Perros,Morirse en Domingo, Después de Lucía, Abolición de la Propiedad and The Incident. He has studied filmmaking in Los Angeles at CSUN in an interchange programme with Catedra Bergman UNAM 2015.
