Scott O'Hara was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area where he was introduced to filmmaking at a very young age. Shooting movies on his parent's 8mm camera, Scott developed a love for classic monster films and creature features, which broadened his understanding of what was possible in the world of cinema. In 2006 Scott received his B.A. in Political Science from St. Mary's College of California, which of course, he did not use.
Whilst studying a BA in Film and Screen Media at Griffith Film School, Isabel became the first student to have two graduate films selected to represent the university at Cannes Film Festival in 2015. Upon graduation, she has spent the last few years pursuing as many opportunities in the industry as possible, working freelance in both Brisbane and Sydney.
Joshua Long first became interested in film after watching Ray Harryhausen movies on repeat as a child. This developed into a love of exploitation cinema. He started making his own horror films, his first major short being the 30-minute backyard zombie epic AXED (2010). Joshua was extremely fortunate to have his script 'Post Mortem Mary' chosen to be funded by Screen Queensland and have it's world premiere at Screamfest. It is a dream come true as he is a massive horror nerd. 'Post Mortem Mary' is a love letter to the works of Lucio Fulci and Dario Argento.
Alberto Viavattene was born on September 21 of 1986 in Turin. He took part in the camera department of Paolo Sorrentino’s productions like “Youth” and the more recent “The Young Pope” HBO tv series. As director he made music videos (like Rockin'1000 Learn to fly video, that reached more than 30 million views on YouTube), commercials and five short films released all over the world in festival circuits, video on demand and home video.
Gabriel Kalim Mucci was born in São Paulo (Brazil) in 1982 where he graduated at film school (FAAP). Soon after he opened with some friends a production company where he worked as a director and DP. After that Gabriel worked a few years as cinematographer freelancer shooting commercials to such brands as Nike, Samsung and Honda. He also directed three shortfilms: Lunatique (2016) is a post apocalyptic sci fi and printemps (2012) and Autumn (2014) two little love stories shot in Paris and NY, respectively. Now he's been represented by Zeppelin Filmes (Brazil) and Ground Control (USA).
Sean is an award winning filmmaker whose body of work traverses music videos, film and documentary. He has directed more than 40 music videos for many of Australia’s most acclaimed musicians including Missy Higgins, Silverchair, The Sleepy Jackson, The Living End, Tim Finn, The Birds of Tokyo and Gin Wigmore. His feature documentary Fantome Island screened at The Brisbane International Film Festival, won Best Australian Film at the Human Rights Arts and Film Festival and recently received it’s first national broadcast on Australian television. Jocelyn Stamat, M.D. is currently adapting the LEAGUE OF LEGENDS online game as an animated series for Riot Games. She created the webseries TURBO DATES, featuring Whitney Cummings and Elisa Donovan, received her medical degree from the Duke University School of Medicine,is a member of the Writers Guild of America, West, also a graduate of Harvard University, and member of the Harvard Lampoon.
Lucas Thyer is an award-¬winning filmmaker based in Brisbane, Australia. His strong visual style, editorial skills and focus on performance-based storytelling has taken him around the world; creating compelling content for clients both big and small. His commercial work covers all formats; spanning TVCs, documentaries, music videos and online campaigns, though recently a focus on drama has seen his films broadcast and win awards across the globe. Passionate about the projects he works on, he brings a creativity and enthusiasm to everything he creates.
